It's natural to have questions when you are looking to restore your doors, windows, and other furnishings. Here are some of the most common questions we hear from customers.
It is difficult to give the going rate as the projects sizes are different, however we seem to be very competitive compared to our competitors when we price each job up.
We work all year round apart from the Bank holidays and over the Christmas break. We generally work outside Spray Painting at temperatures between 10c and 32c, this is to make sure the Paint performs without any issues but we can spray kitchens all year round in our factory.
Yes we do, we take away all rubbish and hoover all areas where the Technicians have been working. If there were any objects that were moved before the work was carried out we will make sure that these are put back in the same location.
There are endless materials that we can Spray paint, we specialize in Composite Doors, UPVC, Wood, Cladding and Garage Doors.
We can’t Spray paint in the rain, we monitor the weather forecast prior to the work being carried out and reschedule to the next convenient date if required.
If your house is a listed building, then you will need to seek advice from your local planning authority about Listed Building Consent before having any area of your home resprayed. This is necessary to ensure the work is legal.
Our Technicians will need to use electricity and to be able to open and close the windows, it is advisable that the customer is around at the beginning and at the end of the project to make sure everything is ok and to make payment, we do not leave the property until the customer is 100% happy.
We can spray the internal part of the windows, but this will be an additional cost, the quote will be for the external side of the product only.
We inspect the product that needs painting first to make sure there is no damage or anything that needs repairing. We then clean the product down to make sure the dirt is fully removed and the surface is 100% clean.
The next procedure is to tape and mask up around the windows so there no overspray on the brickwork or any other items around the area where the work is being carried out.
We then remove the sashes on the downstairs windows and leave the ones in upstairs due to Health and Safety reasons.
The first coat of paint is applied and then an adhesive test is carried out to make sure the paint has taken to the profile as this is a key procedure.
The second and third coat is then applied with a final adhesive test will be carried out to make sure the Paint has taken to the product.
If the products are very worn or broken this will be discussed at the Quote stage regarding what options there is as we can also change glass and hardware as an upgrade and we even offer new products at very low prices.

A photo of the area to be sprayed can be sent over to us for an online quote or we can come out on-site to see the job and quote from there.
Payment is taken after the work is complete either by bank transfer, card payment or cash.
The time taken will vary between jobs on average a door normally takes a few hours to spray, garage doors tend to take around a whole day, where as a kitchen can take 3-5 days but this is usually done off site. Conservatories tend to take a couple of days and a 3 bed house wanting all windows and doors sprayed could take 3 days.
